5 freaking stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love this book so much, it's difficult to put into words. I'll just say that if you love a feminist/feminine rage story, you'll love this book. Also this should be required reading for all of the witchy feminists out there. I will definitely be re-reading this book.

I enjoyed this book. It delivered on the horror as well as the overall spooky, dark and witchy atmosphere.

I loved Abitha and I loved that she got her revenge in the end because she was treated horribly and the puritanical cruelty was extremely hard to read at times.

Her relationship with Samson was interesting to read and I liked the way that the magic worked and developed.

Sometimes the parts with Forest, Sky and Creek felt like they dragged a bit and I was more invested overall in Abitha's situation compared to theirs but it didn't take away from the book.

This is a great read for autumn and Halloween.
