I understand that these were in the perspective of the main character but I wished there was more plot. I wish it was told with a mixture of first and third person. It became predictable in the end.

This book was... okay. That’s it. Just okay. The idea behind it was interesting, but the characters were very shallow and it had an infuriating depiction of women. It is definitely worthwhile if you like science, though.

Absolutely haunting. A tough but necessary read for me, having sisters with disabilities and having been ingrained growing up with a very narrow view of the scope and importance of “intelligence.”

Loved loved loved! Such a wonderful book. Its incredibly depressing but you cant help but continue. Gives you a whole new perspective on mentally handicapped people and I am so glad that I've read it.

I listened to it on an audiobook at work and people kept wondering why I looked so morose!

Everyone should read this at some point :)
