Thanks to NetGalley for my ARC! (Even though I didn’t finish reading before release oops)

I really enjoyed reading this book! I was a little confused by the chapter breakdowns, but it started to make sense very quickly. The plot twists never ended, keeping me engaged the whole time I was reading. I love Savvy and Griffin! Their story is one that I’ll remember.

A thrilling--and iconic play on the classic Mr. & Mrs. Smith. One that has me laughing and loving it.
Savannah Wilde is a very powerful witch who is ready to settle down with the love of her life, Griffin. One problem: Savy is an agent with C.R.O.N.E. (Covert Response to Occult Nightmares by Enchantresses; an organization tasked with protecting magical beings just like her) and Griffin? He's an agent with the HUNTERS, an organization founded upon…. witch hunting.
Things get a bit complicated, seeing as the one job these two lovers have? killing the other.
The result of this hilarious set up is a warm hearted, fast paced adventure with all the best tropes. (secret agents, zany sidekicks, lovers to enemies to lovers again, etc.) Bisexual representation, and a fast paced, fun read made this romance reader, doubly happy.

This was a super fun paranormal play on the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I thought the characters secretly being in opposed paranormal groups worked really well, but when they learn who the other really is they have to look closer into the organizations they are a part of. I wished there had been a little more to the conclusion, but overall it was a fun read with paranormal rom-com vibes.

Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
