The art is so, so pretty! It's really emotive in some places, and excellently communicates the mood of the story. As I said in my review of the previous volume, the story is way more interesting than I remember it to be from when I first read it as a teen.
I can't say that I think very strongly about the characters as of this volume. They don't really feel that dimensional to me, but I think they all might get more nuanced as the story progresses.

I'm invested in the characters and the world-building. We've explored the China-inspired Henshin and learned about the intriguing concept of Kudan, a type of protector god(s). The cliffhanger ending left me heartbroken, but I have faith in Syaoran and Sakura's bond!
