god the voice actor for this audiobook is insufferable. He reads the last book too and his Valley Girl voice for every female character is going to drive me crazy. As well as the over the top Mexican accent he does for Pablo. but anyways The book is okay but only if you've read the secret series as well. Bad Magic was an okay stand-alone with some easter eggs, where as this one is just more worldbuilding. I don't even like their interpretation of dragons really. Also the way he wrote the billionaire dad was super weird. Bosch must have nice parents or something because he can't write bad ones very well.
