Suffering from some "second book in a trilogy" issues but still a solid installment. Amy continues to be fun to watch develop as a lead (anti) heroine. I'm also not entirely sure where the series is headed which is fun and I look forward to the next book.

This was a great read. I did not expect this book to be this good, especially after the bad reviews I saw some people post. The plot twists made this book totally great. I thought Amy was a complex character. Pete was mysterious. Nox was cool and interesting to read about. Bright was a nutball yet he was also very interesting to read about. I need the third book to know what happens next. Can't wait to read it!!! Overall, an impressive sequel.

I laughed when I learned that he smokes rainbows. I was sad when the Lion died and what happened to the scarecrow. I was shocked to learn that Queen Lulu raise Ozma. I was also shocked to find out that Nox is psychic and Pete is gay?saraikamaria's review

CW: animal death, ableist language, bullying, violence, blood, murder
A bit better than the first, I think, but again, we're left on a terrible cliffhanger. Again, impressed by the deep knowledge of Ozdom and need to read more!

This book is a great sequel to the first one. This book had less gore in it than the first one. I really enjoyed this book! But only 11+ can read it.
