The idea of a 'hen' in the woods w/ strangers basically didn't do it for me at first, but I was desperate to get a book for my flight at the time.
It definitely surprised me more than I thought it would. The ending was a tad bit disappointing BUT I enjoyed it for the most part.

I enjoyed this book, although it was a bit predictable. There were the predictable red herrings and plot devices, but they were not so obvious that I didn't enjoy the story. The characters were well fleshed out and the story itself was fun to read. The pacing was great and I was never impatient to find out what happened next. Although I'm twenty years older than the main character, I found her very likable and relatable. I will most definitely read more books by this author.

The book was okay. I figured it out about halfway through but it was a fun, quick read.

A classic 'who dun it'.
You spend the book trying to figure out what happened and how. And just when I thought I had it... I was pleasantly surprised. This doesn't have your feel-good happy ending.

I’d give it a 7/10. It was a solid, enjoyable read, with a pretty unreliable narrator, an unpredictable storyline, but kind of unlikeable characters. I liked it but didn’t love it, and wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.

OMG! This book was amazing. I found this book while at work, a guest left it in the middle of the lobby and never claimed it. Being the only author and reader in the office, my boss thought I would like it. Boy was is right! The books started a little slow for me at first, but around chapter 4, it took off and I was hooked. Every chance that I could find was spent buried in the pages. The suspense in this book was captivating and had me on the edge of my seat the whole way. The author did an awesome job. I tried often to predict who the murder was and when we would find out, but every time I thought that I knew, she threw me for a loop. This is a must read!

There's nothing really like a hen party going wrong! I read this book very quickly because I wanted to read about what was going to happen next. We've always been in that situation where a friend that you've lost touch with reaches out to be part of some party or activity. Usually, this happens around the time of their wedding.

Maybe, that's why it hit home for me. From that first email all I wanted to find out was WHY? Why did she get invited to this party? Then, why did they stop being friends?

Overall, a great book to read during the Halloween season!

I'm always happy when a book pulls me in the way this one did. While there were many mixed reviews on it, my friend gave me the book knowing my taste and knowing I would enjoy it (which I did). While I don't agree with Reese Witherspoon that this book will "really scare you", I didn't think it was scary at all actually, but it was definitely suspenseful and kept the book in my hands!
