To be completely honest, I never thought I would read Angelic. My husband brought it home from work solely because he saw a manatee on one of the promos and knew I needed a manatee comic.
I sat down to read it because... manatees, and couldn't put it down. I imagine I drove my husband bonkers asking if a new Angelic had came out. My middle schooler drew me pictures of the characters. It is that good.
I was disappointed when #6 was getting close because I did not want to see it end, but it ended with three words that made my day, "Angelic will return".
If you haven't checked it out I highly recommend it. The art is beautiful, the color palette fits perfectly, and the story is unique. Definitely in my top 5 of the year.
