Alternates between first and third person perspectives, which I usually dislike but actually found compelling in this book.
Annabelle is a sympathetic character and her story is engrossing. All of the plot lines are tied up very well at the end.

Very good book. Kept me wondering all the way who the culprit was, and was surprised at the end. Seemed more about Bobby Dodge than D.D. Warren, but that was OK.

My mother in law gave me this book to read and I am so glad she did! It is an awesome book that keeps you guessing and most of the time was hard for me to put down ( I even was reading it in bed, which annoyed my husband sometimes lol). I plan on going back to read Alone and many of her other books in the future! I definately recommend it to anyone who loves suspense and cop stories!
