I haven’t experienced the feelings that I felt reading The Great Gatsby, ever when reading any other book. It made me feel excited, anxious, angry etc but I’m the best way. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s writing style is so amazing I can’t wait to read more of his books. Loved every bit of it. By the way I think that Daisy is a bitch and doesn’t deserve Gatsby’s Love.

I don’t get the hype about this book! Didn’t love the writing style and had to force myself to finish. 2 stars because it was a super quick read but the storyline was not it

A great American classic that held my interest the whole way through. Gives a great glimpse into what life would have been like for the upper class of 1920’s America. Try to find F Scott Fitzgerald’s correspondence to his friends and publisher after reading to find great insight into what he was thinking during the editing and publishing of the book. Listened to an excellent audio book edition narrated by Tim Robbins.

It was a book, ⭐️ 2.5
Writing sound pretty but the story sometimes got lost on me.
Some words have aged.
The book also has very long chapters making it hard to get through.

More like a 3.75! I was nice, but I've seen the movie so many times that I just pictured Toby Maguire the entire time. This story is especially interesting if you know about the life of F. Scott Fitzgerald. I'm really looking forward to reading the book his wife wrote! Such an interesting couple.

I am giving this book five stars because of how wonderfully it was written and developed. Gatsby is a rich man who lives a lavish life who is trying to reconnect with the love of his life. Full of plot twists and wonderful character development, this story is one of love, loss, mistrust, friendship, and the morals of judging people by their character and not by how they appear to the world. I loved it so so much and it’s just such a classic story.
