I have one complaint: this collection is too short. I wanted it to go on for another thousand pages.

Finished this in one sitting. One of the best poetry books I've read all year, if not ever.

Love this open mouthed writer. We bruise in the same places.

I liked it a lot, and Clementine does some really interesting things with erasure-style and visual symbols to create overarching themes. Overall, I didn't LOVE it though--I had high hopes going in because I love Mouthful of Forevers, but Dream Girl didn't quite stand up to Clementine's first.

fee read these to me in the bath and there were occasional ~moments~ of beauty but overall i was kinda overwhelmed. did really like the poems you are on the floor crying and in which a girl's body is not a flower or a fruit

didn't make me cry like the others - but then it does make me want to go back to it; and she always reminds me how much i love poetry
