Delightful.

Marcus’s sarcasm was 😂.

This feels like we are due more stories of the Marsden and Challon offspring so we can badge this is a wallpaper nextgen book more than a Ravenel book.

The poetic musings on love by Keir were lovely in the first act. And then the later addition of male characters from the old generation was charming.

Some pesky flaws in writing choices that I’d want to change. The cliche of denying the couple in order to add tension. And the deus ex machina ending of the wider drama.

Too short. I wanted more. A bit anti climactic in the end. Otherwise delightful and fun!!!

A disappointing ending to a very enjoyable series.
The small tidbits that we had scene from the previous books of Merrit painted a fascinating character, however, unfortunately she seems to have taken much from her father and not enough from her mother. Which was unfortunate, but didn’t make the book dreadful. Just a little bit boring every once in a while.
The male lead was… fine. I don’t personally have any real opinion on him, other than, perhaps, the fact that the plot twist was very predictable.
But, I enjoyed seeing old characters reappear, which really shines in the strengths of this novel. It’s definitely feels like fan service (which is great!).

This was a cute re-read. I liked the characters and the relationships were nice.

This was cute. Not my favorite in the series.
