I knew this was just going to be short stories, It's also more excerpts from Nix's Journal (which I didn't mind reading) But the short stories... some weren't even about characters from the books I was very confused and had no connection or interest in reading about these people. Yes some were sad because it told you more about what happened on First Night and their lives before but I wanted more and I'm not going to lie after a certain a couple hundred pages the rest was a skim because I just wasn't invested.

I really loved this collection of stories based in the Rot & Ruin world. I have only read the first book but before finishing this book I have ordered the second book as well as the first in the Joe Ledger series. I can’t wait for them to come in

I really liked this end to the saga. It's the kind of closure that I didn't know I needed, but I'm very glad that I go to read it!

It’s been years since I’ve read the original Rot & Ruin series, but as soon as I started reading this, it felt like no time at all had passed.

I really enjoyed all of these extra perspectives throughout the last 15 years and I very much so hope Jonathan Maberry does continue on to this series at some point.
