I like his writing style, but I'm hard -pressed to say what it's about. It feels like it's supposed to be deep and meaningful but I couldn't tell you what it means. The third book is very self-indulgent - a writer writing about another writer's writings - and it's so tediously navel-gazing that I almost gave up on it. Still, I might give In the Country of Last things a go as I like dystopian stories.
Minor: Sexual content
