I wanted to like this so bad but I just couldn't. When a rich, white, very privileged man complains about how he feels like he has no purpose to a woman who has essentially no rights or independence compared to him, and he does absolutely nothing to change his circumstances, the book is immediately trash. There is no way I could ever feel sorry, or connect with that character, it's just bananas.

Okay this is deff a book i would recommend to others. I wanted to give it a 5 stars but something was holding me back so a 4 felt accurate IMO. I love the way the characters are written - so much to love yet still with so much conflict and flaws. some chapter truly had me side eyeing Colin and Penelope but overall their love story is adorable.
