An amazing end to an amazing trilogy. I cried and I cried often.

Best book in the series thus far.
Storylines came together. Battle of youth vs experience.
I would love to see further elaboration on the history of the guilds. Very intriguing.

The ending was VERY vague. I barely felt a romantic connection between Seph and Madison in this one. Jason's death was tragic and unfortunately, we don't know what happens to Leesha afterwards........
Very good book, an awesome finale for the series! :)

The last 30+ pages... Wowza. I really enjoyed this book. I'm not sure when I'll get to the next one after this ending but I will be back...

This one didn't really live up to memory, but it was still pretty good. I'd forgotten that this one really wasn't about Jason at all, and he was just there to fill up chapters and bring Madison back to Trinity. This was the end of the trilogy, and the end of the major war that had been brewing in the last two books, so I'm wondering why there was a need to write another two books after this one (other than the obvious, of course). There was definitely a lot of plot armor in this one, even with all the unfinished threads. I can definitely see why I loved it so much when I was younger though

Okay. I’ve burned through this book. The writing is fantastic like every book she does but god damn could the characters be bigger whiny bitches in this one? I’m going to read the next book of course. But god Madison and Jason lock it up.

This book was such a slog. I wanted to stop at multiple points but I liked the second one so much I hoped it would get better. The characters made stupid decisions, and the plot moved slowly. The writing is confusing, lacking details, and the world building is weak.

3.75 stars. Definitely better than the first. Honestly each installment got better than its predecessor, which I suppose is a good thing. And it’s not that I didn’t like Jack (the POV character from the first book).maybe it’s just that the magic system was better understood and the plot faster in the second two novels

Not as good as the first one, still engaging though. The first half was a bit choppy, but the second delivered.

I really really enjoyed this conclusion, it was so much better than I expected. The Dragon heir is definitely my favorite one in the series. I felt like this book didn't have such a long introduction as the others, so there was more action and it was more captivating from the start. I actually also really started liking the characters in the book. The Dragon Heir was such a nice and fast read and I thought the magic use in this book was quite epic, even though the magic system is not that unique. The story also got a little more complex, which I appreciated. I might check out the other two books too.
