I have definitely found another favorite children's book author.

I loved this book. It would be great to pair with Beckle. The art is lovely as well and it would make for a great read aloud.

If you know Mr. Bud and Zoro, you'll probably like this non-dog book by Goodrich. Brock is Phillip's friend, but nobody else seems to see him. The expressions on Phillip's parents' faces are spot on. Main tension focuses on what happens when Brock and Phillip are separated.

Cute take on the imaginary friend story with delightful illustrations. Pair with Adventures of Beekle & Marilyn's Monster.

I never had an imaginary friend, so it was hard for me to relate to this story, but I think it will appeal to a lot of kids, and I really liked the illustrations.

The illustrations were simply delightful. The depiction of real versus imaginary came across so well, and the technique behind the realistic elements was rich and soft and brought out so much in the story.
I would echo at least one other reviewer who exasperatedly noted that - of course - the boy has a burly pirate imaginary friend and the girl has a pretty princess. But in the end, they're all friends together, so it works out.
