I didn't make it beyond the first few chapters. The story was good but the sexual references seemed cheap, like the author didn't trust the story enough to have legs of its own.

I became disappointed and moved on to the next book on my nightstand.

I really enjoyed this book! Fast paced thriller with a bit of romance thrown in.

It's exactly what you'd look for in a romantic suspense novel. No more, no less.

I usually like Elizabeth Lowell books but this one was a bit boring. I liked the characters but the plot was not as grabbing as in the other books.

(note: I listened to this on mp3). I really struggled with the woman reading this. She has no change in voice for different people, and it was REALLY difficult to follow who was speaking. In addition, she doesn't read EL the way that I read it in my head. This led to me just not caring what happened in the book.

I may pick up the book from the library and see if it holds my attention better. It probably will. I've been reading EL since the 80's and have never found one of her books so freakin boring.
