Garcia is an assh0le with april they fight and back together again and again. This book scored some brownie points with the tension and steam. For once I want a clear headed girl not ready to forgive the sh8tty man everything. Also I need grovel from him don’t think he did much?? Like nada from him, just him trying yo justify his actions

WOW. That was a journey. I feel so emotionally strung out by this book. Mr. Garcia is so rude but omg the spice is soooo hot. I enjoyed reading this but it was a huge roller coaster.

I’m surprised I finished this book. I had to put it down a few times because it constantly pissed me off. There’s hot alpha/asshole then there’s a mean asshole like Sebastian. Wow! Hated him. The relationship between him and April was just toxic from the beginning. They had nothing in common other than their need for rough sex. He said awful things to her anytime he was upset and it was constantly fighting, sex, fighting, 6 year time jump, fighting, sex… you get the idea.

Perfect! Definitely a reread. April and Sebastian bring it. I like how April didn’t put up with crap and wasn’t a doormat! Bring it!

3.5. Not for me. The best part was the brief cameo of the miles brothers.

Spoilers ahead!

So Seb couldn't "perform" without a hooker, yet he was pissed off that his barista was in the club auction? Makes no sense.

April getting over seb telling his "son" that she's a whore was so quick and there should have been more. The fact that they made up over the phone and she didn't blow up on him about revealing her secret all over campus

Was a good book but the whole son fiasco really ruined the tone for me through the whole book.

✨️✨️It's the sexism slut-shaming hypocrisy and misogyny for me ✨️✨️

The way the "hero" treats the heroine throughout the book... *gagging*
