Surprisingly fun. The murderous droids were maybe my favourite part? (Especially reading it in C-3PO's voice, it's very funny.) Doctor Aphra a queer Lara Croft/Han Solo mix and I'm here for it. I'm very excited to read more of her!!

Doctor Aphra shines in her own series. There’s a fun “Indiana Jones story here with the trappings of Star Wars around it which makes it all the more fun.

I enjoyed getting some more lore and backstory for the Jedi and seeing some horror elements.

If you ever thought "I wish someone would cross Star Wars with Indiana Jones, then toss in a whole bag of moral ambiguity" then this series will satisfy that need. Aphra is quickly becoming one of my favorite non-film characters.

I had heard a lot about Doctor Aphra, and had read a story with her and Darth Vader. As i was looking at expanding some of my Graphic Novel reads, i picked this one up.
It's OK, nothing ground breaking here. I am still a fan of the hero stories, rather than the 'bad' side. OK, she may be more dark grey than bad.
If i can get the second vol at a reasonable price, then i will continue - otherwise, i will stick to the main heroes of Star Wars.

Really fun first volume that manages to satisfy the "Indiana Jones in Star Wars" itch that my brain has. Aphra is a really cool character, and I'm interested to see how the archaeology shenanigans ensue with the coming volumes.

my queer queen <3 i fell completely in love with doctor aphra's character after her appearance in the vader series so i obviously had to read this next. in my opinion, kieron gillen perfectly captures the essence of star wars. humorous and dark; this series is gearing up to be one of my favourites. definitely recommend!
