Wow, what a great second book in a series! We start out 6 months later and Ruby is now working for the children's league. There are new characters that are introduced, Vida and Jude. Ruby is sent out on mission to retrieve a flash drive to help the league, which just happens to be in the hands of Liam, who in book 1 she left behind and erased his memory of her. This book was much easier to read than the first because I now had a better understanding of the world Alexandra Bracken has created. Fast paced, lots of things happen, heart breaking. I didn't see a few of the twist and turns that this book had. Can't wait till book 3!

This book.....my god. There’s just something that rips my heart open. A boy who loves a girl so deeply that even with no memory of her at all, he still loves her unconditionally. My hopeless romantic is sobbing inside.
