Simply put, I'm really glad that Candace Bushnell didn't have complete writing control over the HBO series Sex and the City else it wouldn't have been a roaring success. Didn't like this book, didn't get through it, love Sex and the City though, the tv series!

I almost want to throw this book away, it was so bad. I can't believe this woman wrote a book that spawned a successful television series.

4 Blondes was not what I expected - it is actually four short stories of blonde women and their lives. It was very cleverly written, but some of the stories were kind of crazy. I guess that just goes to show how crazy some New York women are, and their "charmed" lives are not as happy-go-lucky as we might want to believe. Still worth a read by the pool!

I hated this book. It didn't make any sense, and it made me break my rule of getting rid of a book before I finish it. It had moments of absolute vulgarity that I, a person who can handle a lot of discussion about nether-regions, just couldn't read. The rest was just completely boring and nonsensical.
