With social media becoming a powerhouse in this day and age, there are those that debate the positives and negatives of how such a vast network can affect modern society. In this book, Dane Cobain highlights one of the key talking points, that of the concerns arising from how it reflects you to society.
It is a light, but informative tome, with Dane coming across as a teacher, guiding you into the world of the social aspects of the web. While the almost Dummies Guide approach wasn’t for me, I can see how it would appeal to those unsure of the subject, and with the examples used and footnotes provided, there is plenty to chew on.
Ultimately, this is a well researched book that does very well to inform its readers, but is likely suited to one who is maybe not too savvy with the online world. Recommended for those wanting to learn more.
