A good read. The author did a great job tying everything together. Every time I found myself asking what happened with something, I got my answer. I would say this duology is definitely about the bigger picture and not necessarily the romance. Especially this book. So many things needed to be revealed and answered. I think it was A LOT to take in, especially trying to make all the connections and tying up loose ends. Addressing the root of everyone’s trauma. The resolution was anticlimactic but it needed to be that way. There were so many bombs dropped throughout the book, so that was dramatic enough. I really liked Margeaux. Im glad Onyx knew he still had work to do. I don’t necessarily like that Onyx said he stayed in obligation to The Predators and not Tati. Then he only took therapy into consideration once someone else told him to not when Tati suggested it. This wasn’t a HEA for me (not that the author said it would be), this couple has a lot of work to do.
