Formulaic, but a good series when you have Covid.

The Ardmore series is honestly a guilty pleasure. I love the softness of Ireland and how dreamily Nora paints it. I love the characters and their growth. I love their families and how their rivalry leads to teasing banter. I love that you can almost smell the Guinness and smoke of the pub. And the over lay of the fairytale aspect is just so well done. It's a really beautiful story that I reread often.

I had read this so long ago and recently rediscovered it. It was even better than I remembered! I personally find Jude very relatable, and I love the interplay of fairy tale and daily life. Lovely!

it's been awhile since I revisited one of my favorite romance series, and wow, does this one hold up even after over 30 years.
