I absolutely loved this book, Toby and Zeph just made sense from start to end. I loved that Zeph was your typical demon. I couldn’t put this book down as it had everything, a little humour, sexy times and lots going on to keep you wanting to find out the ending.

Toby, a witch with way more power than he is able to contain, accidentally summons a demon husband instead of a familiar. Good for him, right???
Well, the story has just begun…
Zeph and Toby’s story is packed with scheming from people you won’t expect, a family curse and soooo much magic.
Add in a found family in the form of a group of misfits and a loving sister in one case and wonderful mother in the other and you got yourself a winner

This book had me in its claws from the getgo and did not let go til the last page, and let's be honest, I need more from Jax and these characters.
Zeph & Toby have always been outsiders from their respective communities because of the lack of control of their powers, but once tied together, all that changes and the magic begins. So much happens along the way, pulling you deeper and deeper, and can happily say these men and their families now own me. Let's just day good ridden to Toby's old Coven and their backwards ways of not wanting to know more of their past to lead to a better future.
If the rest of this combined universe is as good as this, we are in for an amazing combined universe.

The main character, Toby, is really unlikeable and the writing, especially the dialogue, feels rather juvenile at times. I just did not like this book and could not make it past 20%.

Pretty cute! I enjoyed that there was some challenges for the MCs, their relationship was very instalovey. I found some scene descriptions a bit lacking. I just couldn't picture where the characters were or what body parts were doing sometimes. I'd still read this author again!

Just didn't like the writing. Couldn't connect with the characters and all the conflicts resolved a little too neatly.

4.5 stars!

Zeph and Toby were just so sweet together and a perfect match. Toby has been through a lot, especially with all of the failures at summing a familiar. They both suffer from problems with their magic and were on the outside in their families, Zeph family loved him, but he always felt less than. They have a lot of problems to face, with all the problems with Toby's coven and the curse on Zeph's family. They just worked together so well and brought out the best in each other. The love they have for each other is beautiful and I need me a demon!
