I loved the therapy representation in this book. We need more positive portrayal of therapy and men going to therapy especially. Also we love a man with a cat.

This was mostly good! I thought the third act breakup was a bit weird but also I maybe just read too many of these and there is nothing unique anymore. Liyah’s emotional issues were weird especially considering she goes to therapy so often you’d think she’d be more well adjusted. But aren’t we all a lil effed up

Idk but we love Daniel

This was a fun romcom, and I liked the little hints of Chicago culture! I loved the friend group and the platonic love they had for each other!

At times it did feel like there were too many storylines, but it thankfully wasn’t overwhelming.

One of the MCs being a survivor of sexual assault is a pretty significant aspect of the story, and this may not be a book for folks who don’t want to be thrown into that.

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4: Great, calling it good doesn’t feel adequate. I really liked it and had a very good time reading it.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️ 2: A little tingle: One or two open door scenes with

Loved the representation, but wish less of the plot relied on ostensibly-smart characters being temporarily extremely dumb.
