Overall, I enjoyed this story, particularly the focus on ballet and Paris, and even the mystery-solving subplot. Most of it perfectly fit the fluffy love story that I wanted to read in the spirit of Valentine's Day. However, the plot twist near the end was almost enough to make me stop reading the book with only three chapters left!

I enjoyed this audiobook and have really love Imani Jade Powers’ narration.

As a former ballet dancer and eternal Francophile myself, I was super excited to read this. I loved the descriptions of the museums and streets and culture of Paris. I loved the friendships Mia gained throughout her time attending the ballet school in Paris. I loved the simple mystery of trying to confirm if an ancestor of hers was a dancer painted by Dégas. I loved her whirlwind Parisian summer romance. Very swoon worthy.
