But did she tell you her calendars are color-coded? And did he tell you he was in the special forces?
Only about a million times.

I started this book three times. Finally finished it.
I am sure it’s a lovely book. But decidedly not for me.

Listen. This book ultimately wasn’t bad. It had all the good stuff. BUT for me I felt nothing towards the characters. I wanted to do badly. I finished this because I hate not finishing a book but sadly there wasn’t a connection for me with this book.

I enjoyed this one, but I feel like it is more slice of life type of story for most of the book. The plot kind of kicked in more towards the end. I did enjoy Stella and Cal's romance though. Stella is in PR and Cal is a heart doctor and they're both at the top of their career. Cal is a shy type who had been crushing on Stella for a while, but was too shy to talk to her and ask her out. Cal was cinnamon roll and Stella was a boss so I rooted for them to work things out.
