Really cool to finally finish this book. Based on the library tag on it, I believe this is a YA book and the wiring style reflects this. However, I still enjoyed it as the main character is definitely one of my favorites from the clone wars series. It was very interesting to get a bit more into her character since I never finished the series. I'm excited to see her in rebels since I've started watching that.

I really like how the fact that she was a Jedi in the past didn't heavily play into how the story goes until the last third of the book. Overall I enjoyed it.

Ahsoka is a very interesting character. She doesn't fit into a single definition. She's a Jedi and yet she's not. She's Anakin's student, but she followed a different path. Even her lightsabers are unique. At least as far as I know. I'm not an expert. Here she was living adrift, without motivation. Until she finds a reason to fight again. The ending is kind of open. Since I haven't watched the animations in which she appears, I can't say if her essence was captured, but I liked it.

A quick and easy, but nevertheless enjoyable read. It fits right in with the Clone Wars storylines.
