This is definitely not for kids, but I really enjoyed this romp through Egyptian mythology. No idea how true to the actual myths it was, but it probably doesn’t matter. It even came to a pretty satisfying and almost reverent conclusion, which honestly came as a surprise. Lots of potty humor and dick jokes. Still, fun stuff, and all done in a really matchingly fun cartoony art style.

This was so funny and entertaining. Probably the most vulgar mythology retelling I’ve ever read 😂 it was right up my alley.

This is a must-read for any fan of Ancient Egyptian mythology. The gods are given so much character and humour, they really come to life from the pacing, the structure and the snappy dialogue.

Genuinely wanted to read this again, immediately after devouring it in one sitting. Definitely one of the greatest comics I've read.

I've been recently researching Egyptian myths and I will say that this is one of the absolute best resources I've come across for a clear telling of some very complex myths. And it had me laughing out loud as a much appreciated bonus!

If you are looking to dive into Egyptian mythology then this is absolutely one of the best places to start. Just don't read if you are eating a salad...

Well, that was amusing. And due to my general ignorance of Egyptian mythology, filled with surprising plot turns.

Pantheon is a raunchy, truthful retelling of the Egyptian creation myth and the battle between Set and Horus. Starting with the creation of the world and going through until the crowning of the first human pharaoh, this book never lets up on the humour and poking fun at the incestuous and impossible relationships between the deities. A fun book for those adults wanting a graphic (and I do mean that literally!) novel to introduce them to the story.

A fun way to learn about Egyptian mythology. Some of this comic's humor wasn't for me but the art is beautiful and the story is fascinating.
