Pantheon is a raunchy, truthful retelling of the Egyptian creation myth and the battle between Set and Horus. Starting with the creation of the world and going through until the crowning of the first human pharaoh, this book never lets up on the humour and poking fun at the incestuous and impossible relationships between the deities. A fun book for those adults wanting a graphic (and I do mean that literally!) novel to introduce them to the story.

This is one of the funniest graphic novels I've read. It has the the stupid, chaotic humor that I love. Yes, there's dick jokes. The book contains the creation myth, the death of Osiris, and the revenge of Horus. I've never been one of those kids obsessed with mythology. I think it stems from too many characters confuse me. I definitely still have trouble with remembering character names if there's more than 5.
