sometimes i think this series should be shelved in the fantasy section, but they're super fun reads!

I like sexual books as much as the next girl but sometimes when reading the perverted words I'd think to myself.. why? You can make a book without saying all the raunchy stuff EVERY few paragraphs.

Regardless, I very much enjoyed this book just as much as I loved the first one. I like Gideon and Eva together. They're like fire and gasoline. They're not good for each other but somehow are perfect for each other. Gideon pisses me off though, stay away from Corinne!!!! I can't stand that manipulative woman!

I can't wait to read the next book.

Felt like more of the same from first book, no real movement happening in their relationship, couldn't stand the dysfunction anymore

Ava and Gideon are so messed up. It's just too much drama and it never lets up. It's draining listening to it. I wish I didn't buy book 3 because from the reviews it's more of the same. **sigh** But I did and it's too late to return it.

Basically, Ava is so dependent on Gideon but she's also crazy jealous. Gideon has to keep proving himself to her in his own messed up way. They're okay for 5 seconds, then more drama rains on them again. Repeat cycle.

Jill Redfield is the prefect narrator for the Crossfire series though.

2 stars for the story + 4 stars for the narrations. An average of 3 stars for the audiobook of Reflected in You.

Após uma noite de insónia completa, li o livro numa rajada. Este consegue ser ainda melhor do que o primeiro, o que me fez prender de tal forma que apenas pensava em acabar de o ler.

I'd probably give it more like 2.5 stars.
I have such conflicting emotions and thoughts on this. On one hand I quite enjoyed it and on the other I bloody hated it and found it so infuriating!

I enjoyed it for the fact I'm a sucker for a story like this, and sometimes I didn't mind Gideon.
That's as far as it goes.
Now onto what I disliked. Gideon is such a control freak and Eva is so needy and naive to do anything about it, she let's herself be controlled by sex! And why would anyone be okay with your boyfriend sneaking around with his ex? No matter what the situation is, that would not be okay. Okay so my main dislike is nothing more than the characters, i like the general storyline.

I'm only going to carry on with the series because I want to find out what the hell Gideon keeps telling Eva to 'wait' for. But if the next book doesn't get any better with the crap between them, then I definitely won't be carrying on anymore!
