So I did the audiobook instead of physically reading and wow it made all the difference. It didn’t completely read as juvenile like the first two books.

I also completely forgot the plots of the first two book so I was going in blind, that may have also helped.

Jacks wasn’t a complete asshole in this book and I much prefer this Jacks. I do like that Apollo got his just desserts.

The plot compared (to what I remember) of the first two books was significantly more mundane. Yet, it worked for the story.

I really don’t understand what the negative reviews are about. Stephanie made it pretty clear why Jacks needed to eat the apples and everyone was there that needed to be. She also made it clear what would happen to Marisol in the last book so I feel like too many people decided how they wanted it to be and not how, oh you know, the actual author wanted it to be.

If you’re like me then you realize not everything should be spelled out for you as that ruins the magic of imagination for goodness sake!

This book was everything I needed it to be, made me cry and I’m extremely satisfied with the entire book and final story.

Why did everyone suddenly want Jacks not to be well….Jacks? Why would he suddenly become all sappy?! I would have been extremely disappointed if he just did a 180 from who he is.

Stephanie clearly implied that they are young and would have many more adventures and she clearly implied Evangeline’s mother was special so that means she’s probably not all the way human and living where they decided to live takes place in between real time.

Thank you Stephanie for an amazing journey that I will re-read until I pass onto my next magical journey ♥️
