Couldn't wait to read this after I read the first. Each one is a month long. The first book was September and this one October. This month the school was supposed to have a Halloween dance. By a series of events, Nikki and her friends became the dance committee. It was a fun and quick read for me. Definitely going to read the next one soon.

This was another book I picked up to read due to the popularity of this series in my library. It’s a lot like Diary of a Wimpy kid, except Nikki isn’t a totally self-centred brat. She’s exactly what the title describes her as: a dork. This was cute and I understand why it’s popular. The story was a little vapid and predictable and not something I would have liked as a kid, but it was good for what it was.

Bro pretty interesting.
Obviously predictable but it's for kids.
But when my power went out for an hour I decided to pick up this book. Not bad.
Kinda a cringe-fest. Cliche.
Im making my kids are read this series.
3rd grade me was eating this series up.
