putting this review out there after my reread last year- this is genuinely one of the most memorable books i've ever read. i picked it up one day mistaking it for another book, starting reading it, and liked it quite a bit. i think it's very heartwarming overall.

I first heard about this book when my homeroom teacher started reading it to my class when i was eleven. The teacher never finished it so I bought it for myself and read it, and since that day I've always said this is my favourite book.

This book will bring you a sense of comfort, only to rip it away and leave you hurt, but it does it in the most amazing way.

To this day this book brings me to tears whenever I read it. Looking for an easy to read, yet heartbreaking and deeply impactful book? This is it.
