Horror is definitely not my thing but I absolutely loved this anthology. I was originally only going to read Arianna Baston's story as I signed up for that but ended up reading the whole thing.
The theme "Bloody Massacre" was depicted to its fullest and there were stories where I wanted more. Hopefully the authors would extend their stories coz I would love to read them.
Recommended to all horror and macabre lovers.

Review for "Dark Cravings" Author Arianna Barton
First and foremost! Read the TWs for the entirety of this book!
This story showcases the true nature of vampires and just how deadly they can be. Jessamine, currently going by Levana, a vampire who enjoys toying with humans. Loving the thrill of the hunt and torturing the cattle before her and her beloveds' feed. She also wants to take care of her father who just so happens to be the head of their clan. Not wanting to remain in the shadows forever.
If you are arachnophobic fair warning Jessamine and her men use that phobia to their advantage with a certain human. I was a little sad about the outcome of one of the arcs for an MC but we are dealing with monsters and their hunger. These vampires don't just feed on blood. They feed on emotions and one of their favorites is fear!
Torture is detailed out in this short novella along with extremely dark elements. As stated at the beginning of this anthology multiple times this book full of shorts is not for the faint of heart. Language is present in this novella, along with MF action. A cheating spouse, anxiety, nightmares, and more. Multiple POVs help to really understand the feelings of the character's including the victims.
This was a good read just very intense!
