Katie decides to trade her apartment in London for her cousins apartment in Boston. As soon as she arrives there is a body found in the neighboring apartment. Katie deals with her struggles to live in a new place and her fears from a previous bad relationship. She is not sure who killed the neighbor, but the key she found in her cousins apartment fits the neighbors lock.

As we are hearing the story of Katie we are also hearing the story of another neighbor. He was obsessed with the missing girl. Watched her through her windows every day. He knew there was a relationship between the neighbors, but how could he tell anyone.

While the investigation continues we are hearing about the history of Corbin and how his life in London was the first time he lived there and how it shaped his entire life.

A good mystery. Not much thriller aspects. Decent book, but it won't be memorable within a couple days.

Terus bukunya kan "her", ya, tapi kebanyakan malah isinya "him".

Not one of my favorite of Swansons books but kept my interest the entire time.

Predictable but serviceable thriller. Despite figuring out what had happened a third of the way in, it still succeeded in building a creepy suspense and I couldn't put it down and read 300 pages in one day.

I really loved Kate’s journey and I loved the dark underbelly of this story. It gave me Ripliad vibes.

A boy cousin and girl cousin trade apartments. When the girl moves in her apartment complex shows a murder has recently taken place. The book goes between perspectives of a fellow neighbor Adam , Corbin the boy cousin and more. Really good for a quick read with a twist and overlapping stories.
