I'm afraid I just can't get into this one, for too many reasons.
I really don't understand how these survivors are treating Eli with not just distrust, but blatant hostility, considering he's been nothing but a contributing member of their society. Fine, he's a loner, but there is no reason for the hatred and anger from them.
Not only that but the guards are ignoring obvious threats to their home and loved ones, so I can't fathom how these people still alive. I'm afraid the plot gaps are too hard to ignore.
A great cover and a promising premise, but I'm going to have to pass.
