I honestly thought that Holden was going to be the bad guy. In some ways he was, but not like your typical narcissist who plays the girl to make her fall in love with him. Now, do I agree that he hid all that information from Sky (Hope)? No. But I can see why. Also, it’s a book lol. Colleen Hoover can make any character do what she wants for any reason.

i cannot give this book 5 stars enough. i feel like it is such an underrated colleen hoover book and it aggravates me. the book starts out kind of slow, it takes it a little while to get to the good stuff, but once everything started to unfold, it had my jaw on the floor. such a good book

Amazing!!!!!!
Loved this book, this book kept me going
It’s got a emotional back story on it, however for me, I have cried to Colleen hoover books more than this one for some reason
The topics was very emotional and I don’t know why I only shedded a year, but nether the less it was a amazing book, amazing story, so sad and you won’t put it down until u have finished reading
I loved the ending of this
And I love dean holder…
I also love sky
I hate the dad( for very obvious reasoning)
And, I can’t lie, I do love Karen , even if she did
Spoiler kidnap sky, it was to protect her from her father.
Although In the middle, we kind of forgot about our best friends  in the book

4.5 "I live you" stars!

Listen. I was SO. CLOSE. to completely giving up on this book. Literally 150 or so pages in I had no idea where this story was supposed to go. I found myself rolling my eyes at every supposedly interaction Sky and Holder had because I thought that the romance was too abrupt and I was not convinced.

But then the plot started picking up and oh my god.

Continuing with this book was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Seriously. There were a lot of moments where I wanted to keep on turning the page to know what happens next but I also wanted to stop to take a breather because the scene was too heavy for my poor fragile heart to handle. This book will tear your heart to pieces one minute, then will put it back together again with the most hopeful and inspiring quotes, then it will break your heart again. Long story short, this was one heck of a rollercoaster ride of so many emotions.

Also can we talk about how painfully underrated Sky and Holder are?????? When it comes to CoHo characters it's always Lily and Atlas (which I understand because they deserve the world) but SKY AND HOLDER????? THE POWER. THE STRENGTH. WE NEED TO SCREAM ABOUT THEM MORE.

I deducted 0.5 stars for 2 reasons:
1. Like I said, I wasn't the biggest fan of the first part.
2. Breckin. The forgotten bestest friend in the wide world. I felt like he was just there for the sake of being there. I wanted more of him! I feel like his character could have been a more prominent one.

So yah. This being my 4th CoHo further proves to me that yes, this woman is a fantastic storyteller; and yes, I might be a little bit addicted to her writing. To be frank, her books aren't the best, most amazing things I have ever read, but the way they hook you in inescapable. Once you're in, it's difficult to get out.

Although I definitely saw parts of the ending coming, I didn't expect it to be quite so shocking. I was once again mind blown and heart aching over a Colleen Hoover book.

I thought it was really well written, although I did think it was slightly less gripping than her other books.
