I really enjoyed reading this book. King's character development, espcially through dialog, shines here.
It's a page turner for 1,000 pages - which is impressive.
Beware - it's a heavy book! :-)

book is a great read but the ending was a let down for me after 1,000 pages. I'd give it a 4 to 4.5 for the first 900 pages and a 3 for the last 100.

it’s a stephen king book, with all the weird boob descriptions, weight obsessions, and casual -isms that that entails, but for what it is it’s really engaging. the narration is unsettling, lots it’s super creepy, but the best thing it does is definitely just dread. pure dread as allllll the pieces fall in. definitely worth its thousand pages
