I've always loved watching Harry Potter. As a child, it seemed eerie and scary to me. Now, although I am no longer afraid at the sight of a three-headed dog, the sentiment remains. I was curious if the book would be as good as the movie, so I decided to pick up the series. I fell in love with the adventures of three wizards all over again. I didn't expect this book to be so good. Even though I know the stories from the book, I had a lot of fun reading it. I regret not getting it earlier.

i am truly shocked it took me so long to start this series. i finished the book with the widest grin on my face and my eyes wet. engulfing me was a world of wizards, witches, and the crossroads of using power for good versus evil. i now understand the hype… off into the second book i go.
