When a volcanic eruption leaves the people of small town Greenloop stranded, they soon find hunger is not their biggest worry. It’s the Sasquatch community hunting them.

Reading like a found footage horror film, this book truly captures the isolation and fear of our main character.

I enjoyed this book! A great read for this time of the year.

wow! One of my favorite horror novels in a looonnnggg while. I liked the balance between suspense and action. The characters were really interesting as well -- I liked how much more we learn about them as the book goes on.

For some reason, I thought this book was going to be *super* gory, but it was on par with the typical killer/monster horror story. I get squeamish, but I had no problems here.

hooray for a good halloween read

Not really my kind of book is what I find when I originally saw this come out. I was very wrong. This book was entertaining from start to finish. I highly recommend it. I didn’t see it as a horror book. Sure there is death and gore but that’s wasn’t the central story. Maybe like The Martian but with enemies. I don’t know but it was good.

I had high expectations for this book because I really enjoyed World War Z... but it fell flat for me.

I wonder what it looked like, when we first tasted fresh blood. What did we think? What did we feel? That moment when everything changed. From scavenger to predator. Hunted to hunter.
