I’ll start this review by saying that my only experience of Dragon Age is the Netflix TV show – but I really liked that so I thought I’d give this a go. I liked the cinematic feel of all five books, although generally some artist styles were better than others. In terms of the actual stories I loved the last two but didn’t think too much of the first three. Although I liked the connections that linked all five books. I don’t know if I’m ever going to play a Dragon Age game but I’d read more books.

I would give lesser, but I love the non-david raider stories too much for that. His were multiple chapters, and they. sucked. ass. so glad he is not gonna write shit anymore. what an ass writer. horrible pacing.
I couldn't get through a COMIC BOOK because of it. Took me months to finish his lame story.
Sad thing is, some parts were genuinely great. It had moments I was invested in, and hoped it would pick up from those moments but it got... surprise surprise, boring again. His writing is always such a mixed bag, shit pacing that in random moments take off and get really interesting and enjoyable, only for it to end.
Then, finally, came the other ones. Oh my god. Read them in one sitting. Bought the rest of the comics in a bundle digitally to keep reading them. Read everything else in like two to three days. I loved the characters, stories weren't THAT good but the characters were so. lovable.
