I won’t lie I was upset she picked boring Oro over dark, mysterious, lying Grim. Did not see that coming though. Second book better bring back Grim.

This had such potential but was so slow at some points. The pacing was just very off. Things I wish had more development happened within minutes and things that didn’t really need much explanation lasted for chapters. For such erratic pacing, you’d think the connection between characters (aside from Celeste) would have been a bit more developed.

I’ve heard good things about the second book, so fingers crossed!

Never trusted Celeste from the beginning. I can’t choose between them.  *screams*
