not the best book I've read but an easy read. I love medical mystery stuff.

Fast read, read it in one day. I love stories like this--biological terror/deadly viruses. This was a good book but it could have been a little better. The ending felt rushed and there were some loose ends not tied up. Maybe they are in another book??

This book scared the crap out of me! To think that there are people out there that think along these lines is downright scary! Highly recommended!

dark mysterious tense fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? No
  • Loveable characters? Yes
  • Diverse cast of characters? No
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Biological Warfare stuff bored the crap out of me. But this is a series that I used to love and decided to pick up and try again. I'll give it another book, see what I think about it. I think it was just the subject matter that lost me on this one.

Entertaining but not up to my memory of what a Kava novel should be.

Seems like I’ve been picking virus books lately... O’Dell and Tully were solid as always but I was surprised to see one of the crew lost. I’m not sure what’s going on with a couple others, one old and one new but that’s Kava doing a good job.

I enjoyed the way she included real events in this fictional story, it was a nice touch. This one really was different from the books and villains before it. Can’t wait to see where Kava takes them next. Wow. This is book 100 for the year. COVID-19 needs to be sorted for so many reasons.

I enjoyed this book. I just felt like it ended too quickly. And I kind of felt like there were things left unexplained. I would have liked to know more about Artie, for example. All in all, I'm enjoying the O'Dell series. This is the French translation of Exposed. Oh, by the way, note to the translator: FDA is not Federal Drugs of America but Food and Drugs Administration. Thanks for the laugh, though.
