While the first two books are light on plot and events, The Titan's Curse is a more balanced book. It has got a good amount of action, interesting conversations and some very unexpected events in the end. This is a good middle book for the series and sets the stakes higher for the next book. Overall, this is a great read if you've loved the first two books and I enjoyed it more than my first read.

I love that Rick Riordan is able to bring in so many cool mythological tales and tailor it in a way that feels adventurous and keeps the reader wanting more. Every time I pick up a new Percy Jackson novel, I know I am about to learn about a new tale and enjoy back story to the characters that makes sense. Always a fun time when I read these!
