Another BSC book, another new illustrator! I was surprised by the bits I remembered from reading the original in the late 80s-early 90s. Like David-Michael's Louie song. And Louie peeing on the carpet. But in many ways, it's still like reading a brand-new book. A brand new book without the internet or cell phones and where kids still get chicken pox.

Nostalgic, timeless, and bound to be popular.

I love these graphic novels of the babysitters club. I love revisiting my childhood through these books. It was interesting to read how Kristy handled the situations she was put in in her new neighbourhood. The loss of a family pet is always so difficult and I think they portrayed this well in the graphic novel through the conversations and visuals.
