First I’ve seen the play, than I watched TV series and after that - read this book. And it’s definitely love. When I was reading it, it felt like I hear the voices of the cast. And it was interesting to read comments in the end, which made it even better.

"Women are born with pain built in. It’s our physical destiny. Period pains, sore boobs, child birth, you know. We carry it within ourselves throughout our lives. Men don’t. They have to seek it out. They invent all sorts of gods and demons and things so they can feel guilty about things, which is something we do very well on our own."

I've never read scripts before, so I thought it would be a bit boring to read an almost word-to-word script of a show I'd watched several times.
Boy was I wrong.
It was like hallucinating the whole show in my head, but this time I could stop, take the favourite bits slow, reread the favourite lines several times, and enjoy it even more (which I thought was quite impossible).
By the way, the edition is gorgeous; the biblical font, the colours, and the "Write like you're not afraid" last page.
I was a bit disappointed only by the lack of any additional notes (there's only 5 or so pages that feel more like acknowledgements at the end of the book).

What is there to say? 5 star show, 5 star script. I loved this show, and reading the script made me love it even more.
