I devoured this poetry collection like it was a tightly-plotted novel. The poems are visceral and tinged with bleak beauty. A book I know I’ll keep coming back to.

Spectacular and poignant storytelling. Never have I come across such original and raw poetry - probably some of the best I’ve read in a long time. This collection is a phenomenal example of conveying authenticity compellingly without any bravado—hats off to Caleb for unparalleled and beautiful creativity.

I really liked some of the poems and lines but also found some of it going over my head. Also liked the care that has gone into this, the photography and how different this was from other poetry I’ve read.

Hauntingly poignant and mournful, this collection was just phenomenal. I love how Caleb Femi breathes life and sorrow into the concrete structures of working class London, almost like a modern day William Blake. I didn't connect with all of the poems and some of the photos seemed a bit out of place, but the poems moved me more often than not.
